More shooting~

After confirming everyone’s availability, I arranged todays meet up at Central Park. 

Although our initial location planned for this shoot was Joyland, we understood that we won’t be permitted to shoot there because for privacy policy of all the visitors. 

We met up at Central Park and Aimen got ready in the McDonald’s Restroom while we waited for dua to arrive. In the meantime I revised our shooting plans for today. 

Todays shoot was quick and easy although it did require some camera movements. We did one shot on the roof, one on the jogging track, and one in the park. As the shoot was done between 3pm to 7pm, the sky was getting darker and that was quite visibly noted in our shoot. Especially this one scene which was shot after it got dark when i realised it was missing, but the other parts of it were shot in daylight. 

We tried this one shot where Aimen was sitting on the railing and did a hair flip. Although the railing was quite wide, we were on a height and it’s never bad to be careful, so I sat on the floor, out of the frame and help Aimen by her leg in case she imbalances. It definitely looked really weird from other’s perspective. 

While discussing the remaining shots, I suggested we do the “parallel park” lyric in the skating rink but we eventually gave up on the idea because of the crowd there, the unwilling attitude on the worker and bad lighting. Instead we found this tunnel on the jogging track with golden lighting and it gave a really good contrast with the cool colours of the sky. We took quite a few pictures and videos there. 

My job for today was not only of direction, but also of being the gofer. I at a time, was carrying Aimen’s bag, her spare clothes which she brought in case we didn’t like her outfit as a fit for the MV, Azka’s camera bag, water bottle, my own bag, and everyone’s phone. Tough work… 

Nevertheless it was enjoyable cause we finally wrapped up the shooting with some McDonald’s.
